HPR is currently accepting applications for the following part-time positions: 

  • Front Desk-Tot-Watch AttendantWe are currently taking applications for a Tot-Watch Attendant. We are looking for applicants that will have the flexibility to work; Morning Shift from 9am to 12pm Monday thru Saturday; Evening Shift from 5pm to 8:30pm Monday thru Thursday.
    Job Description:
     Responsible for assisting customers, clients, and children as they enter the Community Center’s Tot-Watch area. Greets patrons as they enter the facility. Responsible for face-to-face and telephone communications with patrons. Supervises and oversees the safety and security of children in the Tot-Watch childcare area. Incorporates and enforces all Parks & Recreation policies, rules, and regulations. Assists in Front-Desk, Tot-watch Room, and Fitness Floor area clean-up procedures as directed. Perform additional duties as requested. Prefer some experience in recreation and/or child-care setting. Dependability is a must. Applicant must be 16 years of age. First Aid/CPR certification is preferred, but not required. Hiring preference will be given to candidates that have prior experience with children and a flexible schedule.
    Starting pay is $11.15 per hour.


  • Concession Attendant - We are currently taking applications for Concession Attendants. We are looking for applicants that will have the flexibility to work; Evening Shift from 4pm to 9pm. This position is weekly, Monday through Friday. 
    Job Description
    Performs basic duties in the operation & maintenance of concession areas at the Aquatics Center & Ballfields.  This includes receiving money for concession orders, preparing concession orders for customers, cleaning and maintaining the concession area, filling out daily paperwork.  Works under the direction of the Recreation Coordinator of Youth Programs & Special Events Applicant must be 16 years of age. First Aid/CPR certification is preferred, but not required. Hiring preference will be given to candidates that have prior experience with children and a flexible schedule. Starting pay is $11.15 per hour.


  • Summer Camp Counselor- We are currently taking applications for Summer Camp Counselors. We are looking for applicants that will have the flexibility to work; Morning Shift from 6am to 12pm, Evening Shift from 12pm to 6pm. This position is weekly, Monday through Friday.                                                                                                                    Job Description: The Recreation Attendant/Summer Camp Counselor is responsible for assisting the Recreation Coordinator of Fitness & Youth Programs with assigned recreation activities and youth program supervision. Incorporates and enforces all Parks & Recreation policies, rules, and regulations. Prefer some experience in recreation and/or child-care setting. Dependability is a must. Applicant must be 16 years of age. First Aid/CPR certification is preferred, but not required. Hiring preference will be given to candidates that have prior experience with children and a flexible schedule. Starting pay is $11.15 per hour.
